Mr. and Mrs. Jim Donze, 24503 N. 1050 East Rd.,
Cornell, 6l3l9, will celebrate their 40th wedding
anniversary April 16, 2001. The couple will be
taking a western trip in the summer.
The former Gale Biehl and Jim Donze were married
in a blizzard April 16, 1961 at Cissna Park.
The Rev. T. Wayne Biehl, father of the bride,
officiated at the ceremony.
Attendants were Connie (Mrs. Larry) Schein,
sister of the bride, Sevilla Mooberry, Marcia
Penforld, Rich Mortiz, nephew of the groom, Gerald
Shoemaker, and Keith Spaniol.
Gale is the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. T.
Wayne Biehl, formerly of Cornell.
Jim is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Donze.
The couple are the parents of J. Scott (Kathy),
Streator, Kathy (Mrs. Jim) Grusy, Goshen, Ind.,
and Mary Jo (Mrs. Steve) Airo, Spring Lake, Mich.
They have seven grandchildren.
Jim is a farmer and Gale is a rural mail carrier,
Pontiac.
