Mr. and Mrs. Frank Faw of Toluca will celebrate
their 50th wedding anniversary on June 30, 2001.
They spent three days in St. Louis as a surprise
trip hosted by their children.
The former Sylvia Massino and Frank Faw were
married June 30, 1951, in St. Ann's Rectory in
Toluca. The Rev. K.L. Roche officiated at the ceremony.
Attendants were Rita Biagini, Toluca, sister of
the bride, and Ray Katchmar, who lived in
Streator, brother-in-law of the groom.
The couple have a son, Jerry, Toluca, and a
daughter, Sandy Szakach of New York City, N.Y.
They have one grandson.
Frank is retired from Wabco, Peoria, where he
was a service representative. Sylvia is retired
from Clannon Brothers in Toluca, where she was a
bookkeeper for 40 years.
