Mr. and Mrs. George Hoegger, of Dwight, will
celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an
open house from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, March 31 at
the Dwight American Legion Hall. The event will
be hosted by their children.
The former Betty Diemer and George Hoegger
were married March 31, 1951, at Emmanuel
Lutheran Church in Dwight. Attendants were
Merle Russell of Streator and Roma Held of Ransom.
The couple are the parents of two children: Roy
(Donna) Hoegger of Dwight and Roger (Shelly)
Hoegger of Blackstone. They have two grandchildren.
George retired from Riber Construction in
Dwight in 1992.
