Mr. and Mrs. Charles Latham, 101 Northfield Dr.
C-2, Normal, 61761, formerly of Streator, will
celebrate their 50th anniversary June 9, 2001, with a
dinner at Jumer's and open house reception at
Christ Church, Normal.
The former Barbara Gerbrich and Charles Latham
were married June 9, 1951 at the Parsonage of
the Tabernacle Church, St. Paul, Minn. The Rev.
Paul Rader officiated at the ceremony.
Attendants were John Gerbrich, St. Petersburg,
Fla., brother of the bride, and the late Eleanor
Pilot.
The couple are the parents of Janet (Mrs. David)
Schafer, Streator, and Mark (Marilae) Latham,
Siloam Springs, Ark. They have one grandchild
and two stepgrandehildren.
Charles is a retired X-ray technician from St.
Mary's Hospital, Streator, and Barbara is a
homemaker, formerly employed by Montgomery Ward
and Co., and St. Mary's Hospital, Streator.
