Mr. and Mrs. Olian Long, 7418 E. 3000 North Road,
Manville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
An open house will be held from 2 to 5 p.m.
April 21, 2001, at Central Church of Christ. It will be
hosted by their children.
The former Ramona Jean Hogan and Olian Long
were married April 30,1951, at Midway Penticost
Church, Walnut Ridge, Ark. The Rev. Hush A. Stell
officiated at the ceremony.
Their attendant was Betty Stell.
The couple are the parents of Karen (Mrs. Bob)
Ferrell, St. Joseph, Mo.; Rick (Sherry) Long, Long
Point; and Larry (Clorinda) Long, Ancona. They
have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Olian is employed by Valley View Industries, Cornell,
and is retired from Smith-Douglass. Ramona
is retired from Thatcher Glass Mfg.
