Mr. and Mrs. Ron Losey, 1609 S. Park St.,
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with
a reception held in Harlingen, Texas, where they
spend the winter. A trip to Ireland and the
western states has been postponed.
The former Vyetta Kelly and Ron Losey were
married May 26, 1951 at St. Anthony Church.
The Rev. Jaques Engelhardt officiated at the
ceremony.
Attendants were Sr. Helen Carey (Mary Ann
Carey), Bloomington; Honey (Semans) Martin,
Streator; Earl Richardson, Coal City;, the late
Ed Lyons and the late Floyd Turner.
The couple are the parents of Linda (Mrs.
Richard) Cross, Pontiac; David (Kathy) Losey,
Streator; and the late Alan Losey. They have
six grandchildren.
Ron is retired from the Pontiac Correctional
Institute. Vyetta is retired from the Woodland
High School Guidance 0ffice.
