Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mudrock, 1517 S. Illinois,
celebrated their 50th wedding annversary May 5,
2001 with a Mass said at St. Stephen's Church and
a dinner later in the evening for the immediate
family.
The former Evelyn Kmetz and Robert Mudrock
were married May 5,1951, at Immaculate Conception
Church. The Rev. Ralph Lane officiated at the
ceremony.
Attendants were Genevieve Hancin and Joan
Brennan, both sisters of the bride, both now
deceased; Beatrice Roy, Downers Grove, sister of
the groom; James Sabol, Van Nuys, Calif.; Ralph
Kolesar and John Kmetz, brother of the bride,
both of Streator.
The couple are the parents of four children: John
Mudrock and Darlene (Mrs. Steve) Ewing, both of
Streator; James (Jennifer) Mudrock, New Lenox;
and Mark (Susan) Mudrock, Sarasota, Fla. They
have six grandchildren.
Robert is retired from Knoedler Mfg.
