Mr. and Mrs. John (Erma) Seymour of 808 S.
Park St., will celebrate their 60th wedding
anniversary today, March 8, 2001. They will mark
the occasion at a family dinner with Erma's sister,
Marion Craft.
The former Erma Craft and John Seymour were
married March 8, 1941, at First United Methodist
Church.
Attendants were Constance Craft, aunt of the
bride, and Parke Daugherity, both now deceased,
both of whom lived in Streator.
The couple are the parents of John Seymour,
Sheridan, Wyo.; Bob (Marian) Seymour, Tampa,
Fla.; Mary Kay (Mrs. Michael) Pleck, Urbana;
and Judith (Mrs. Mark) Dickey, Raleigh, N.C.
They have seven grandchildren.
John is retired from Streator Implement, the
John Deere dealer, where he was a lifelong
employee.
