Mr. and Mrs. John Trainor of Forrest celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary with family this
past weekend at Lake Lawn Lodge in Delavan, Wis.
The former Dorothy Stahly and John Trainor
were married July 14, 1951, at St. Anthony Church.
The Rev. Phillip Johnson officiated at the ceremony.
Attendants were Rosemary Retoff and Lloyd
Decker.
The couple.are the parents of Mike, Bob, Pat
Rieger, Lynn Reis and Ann Zimmerman, all of Forrest.
There are 20 grandchildren.
John is owner of Trainor Grain and Supply Co.
and serves as a director of UnionBank of Streator
and Ottawa.
The couple moved to Forrest 43 years ago.
