Wahl
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond G. Wahl, 2005 Eastwood Ave., will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary on June 23 with a 5:30 Mass at St. Stephen's Parish, following a dinner at the Town and Country Inn with their family. A trip to Tunica, Miss. will celebrate their milestone.

The former 1-@orraine H. Wargo and Raymond G. Wahl were married on June 25, 1946, at St. Stephen's Church.The late Monsignor George Dzuryo officiated at the ceremony.Attendants were the late Geraldine (Wargo) Cavanaugh, sister of the bride; Mary Ann (Wargo) Klein of Mendota, cousin of the bride; the late Dorothy Gulvas; George Hancin of Streator; William Pleasant of Cornell; Raymond Harcharik of Streator, uncle of the bride; Sister Alice Ann Harcharik of Bradley, cousin of the bride; and George Wargo of Streator, brother of the bride.

The couple are the parents of five children, Donna Mikolajczyk of Streator, Linda (Mrs. Bud) Parsons of Wellsboro, Pa., Walter (Jama) Wahl of Streator, Patty (Mrs. Kent) Perry of Schaumburg and Laura (Mrs. Brent) Bradley of Streator. They have six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Raymond served in the United States Navy during World War II in the Amphibious Forces in the Pacific from February 1943 to Februarv 1946. He was the former owner and operator of Ray's Auto Beauty Center from 1962 until his retirement in October 1986.
